My Thoughts on DeviantArt

 I know I said and talked about this a certain amount of times, but I thought about getting this out of the way in a form of a deviation to inform that I’m not going to be leaving DeviantArt in spite of such events like the layout change that is known as DA Eclipse, Net Neutrality’s elimination, and/or Article 13. These three reasons may be somewhat significant to me in some ways, but they would ultimately not be enough for me to give up uploading my art, stories, and content about my characters here. The only way I would truly leave this site is when I get bored or lose my sense of inspiration in a way.

To me, DeviantArt has always been my most useful social media site that I use to write about my characters, places, stories, etc. and there’s just no site like DeviantArt at the moment. Sure, I have heard of this new art site by the name of Artri.se, but I’m not going to waste my time building up another following over there when I need to build up my other followings on DeviantArt and some of the other social sites I already have. Twitter may be okay to good in some areas, but it just doesn’t have the same, unlimited capacity DA has to write about your characters, places, stories of your content, etc. due to the text restrictions (Unless you have to grudgingly make replies to your own comments for expanding your information on said characters, stories, or places....) I would also like to use Tumblr myself, but very few artists/users I knew uploaded anything since the incident by late 2018. The only other choice I’d go for might be Instagram as my second, most used social site, but I sometimes hardly even use that nowadays...

However things may become later on, I’m not gonna throw away all my hard work and effort I built upon my account on DeviantArt. I will not back down to any form of obstacle or event telling me to quit, and I will just going to keep going even in spite of DA’s layout change and the campaigns involving Net Neutrality and Article 13. I’ll just keep on creating until some unknown force stops me or whatever...
